“Modes of Encounter” is a research-creation working with different practices, both linguistic and non-linguistic (movement, embodied interaction).
It focuses on the role of bodily experience and the research on unknown, unlearned types of interaction possibilities within the empirical and specific knowledge of the body.
These works emphasize the limits set by “language” and “corporeality”—the human way of being; a way of existence that is centered on these phenomena. They focus on the role of bodily experience while creating links to Whitehead’s proposition “The Human Body is that region of the world which is the primary field of (human) expression” (Modes of Thought).
The closed-door event was organized by me to exhibit my first works with production and curation support by 9Bucuk and psychical space support by Sanatorium.
